Perhaps you’ve noticed it; lately I’ve been experimenting with my look.
Although I like to think myself somewhat of a risk-taker lately I’ve been getting this little bug driving me to push things a little further.
The obvious part is my hair, which in this photoshoot had just been styled by Kim Garduno, a super young and talented hair stylist that I got to meet recently in Paris.
Unfortunately the color fell off really fast, so this is the only shoot where you’ll get to see her creation: it consisted of highlights all over my hair in different shades of pink plus some random touches of purple additional to that; we chopped my hair shoulder-length (which you already got to see in the last outfit post but in a blonder version) as well as the fringe.
I gotta admit I sometimes feel a bit weird about the fringe, but then I just remind myself that it’s just hair and that was exactly what I wanted: to look different.
As a matter of fact, I just re-dyed my hair (you probably saw it on IG) and now almost all my hair is magenta, and since I’m currently really sick, I hope I’ll get to shoot a look before it fades.
Aside to my hair, I’m also trying to experiment with fashion… I think I already do (at least more than the average person), but I’ve noticed that I tend to go to certain shapes and cuts that I already know work for my body type but then, I end up looking the same.
That’s why now, I try my best to experiment with other propotions, cuts and volumes; this outfit is the case, since I actually feel SO self-conscious with pencil skirts cause they show too much the shape of my body (hello body-issues), but then by pairing it up with the loose knit, it didn’t feel so bad 🙂
Anyways, after my monologue, I hope you like this look and I look forward to your comments!
