Happy Saturday! Little break from the Fashion Week spam I’ve put you through lately (although it will continue… as I said, this is just a little break).
This weather has got me dreaming of brighter and warmer days, and so I craved for a post that portrayed just that!
Back in October, my sweet friend Meg from the blog De quelle planète es-tu? had the amazing idea to plan a day-trip to Giverny.
I’m ashamed to admit that then, after almost 4 years living in Paris I had never been there… for one reason or another, I just never made it happen.
In the end it was even better, since I got to go with great company (Flo, Louis, Anne & Sasha) and have even more fun!
In case you don’t know, Giverny is a small town in the Normandy Region, famous for once being the home of the highly acclaimed painter Claude Monet.
One might be able to go to many famous’ painter’s houses and get a little insight into their mind and creativity; but what’s so special about visiting Monet’s home is that you get to see in real life what was his major souce of inspiration: his garden and of course the gorgeous flowers that inhabit it.
The place is just so incredibly pretty, full of life and colors, and I can just imagine that during Spring it must be even better… in full bloom!
Although I mostly took photos of flowers I hope you get a sense of the beauty of this place and feel inspired to visit it, next time you are in Paris.
In the meantime I hope you have a lovely weekend, and see you on Instagram!
Lovely pink dress!

Wow, bei den Bildern wünsche ich mir so richtig, richtig den Sommer zurück!
Doll! Your pink hair + pink dress + flowers = perfection.
These photos are so dreamy and now I’m going to dream about the sunshine…..
Can I just say that my bra is way more pink and that sweater is way more see through than I expected?!?!!! Haha! That day was just so wonderful. I look forward to more adventures all together.
Aw thanks babe! I’m glad you liked the photos, I personally loved the ones you took!
I really can’t wait for another plan like this, it was so much fun!
About the sweater, I’m sorry, I thought it was on purpose… do you want me to take the photo down? ^^
See you tomorrow 🙂
