Paris Fashion Week day two, I starte my day covering the Cédric Charlier Backstage and Runway show.
It was only day two, but it was already hard to wake up (after all, I did have all the exhaustion from NYFW and MFW accumulated), but then as usual, as soon as I got to the venue the adrenaline kicked in and I was on full mode.
It went to the extreme that I ended up taking about twice the amount of photos than I usually do in a show, which definitely made the selection and editing part a little bit of a nightmare… from 130 total I managed to lower it to 40 😉
Actually I was so focused that I might have made an impression since while I was shooting there another photographer came and asked me if I could cover him shooting the Dries Van Noten show afterwards, but unfortunately it fell through since I was meant to be at the Sharon Wauchob show around the same time.
Of course I was too disappointed to miss out on DVN show since I adore his work… but I’m sure next season I will 😉
This was one of my favorite collections (from the ones I got the opportunity to shoot) due to it’s simple and feminine silhouettes and range of colors… it’s playful but discrete and I really loved the make up which consisted of peach eyelids and rosy lips.
I’d wear any piece of this collection in a heartbeat, specially all the peach colored garments and the silky/shimmery skirts of the end (the dress in the end is amazing!).
This show set the tone for a good and not too exhausting day shooting… first to the Sharon Wauchob show and then as much as I could catch of the Rochas street style.
Come back soon to see more of my PFW weed adventures, and life lately in Paris!
Thanks for reading! xx
