The second show I covered on my first day of Paris Fashion Week was the Dévastée Backstage.
This is a brand that isn’t necessarilly the most worldwide known… as a matter of fact, I only discovered this label last season but was immediately allured by the designer’s “out of the box” approach… I am well aware it might not be the most commercially attractive proposal, but I always have inmense respect for those who dare to stick to their true essence even if that means reaching a more restricted target of clients.
I really like the motifs in the clothings… but I still have to find out what they are supposed to be! They make me think of happy ghosts for some reason lol… but yeah they are cute!
What I loved most about this collection is that despite it is pretty much all black and white, there’s still so many elements making it anything but ordinary!
I also really like the mix of lightweight and heavy fabrics, making for really interesting shapes.
The make-up and hair on the girls for this show, was very natural and understated, with almost no make up at all, and low pony-tails for the models with long hair and straightened hair for those with short hair.
Overall, even though I wouldn’t necessarily wear every piece in this collection I really liked what I saw!
So what do you think about the AW15 collection by Dévastée? As well, what do you think of these photos?
