- Fashion Week
Hi guys !
As you can see, this season I’m trying to speed up and actually be (somewhat) on time with my NYFW SS16 Street Style posts !
I just got back from New York and I am so jetlagged but really want to get the ball rolling, so hopefully I’ll keep up and manage to post everything with at most 1 week of delay (nervous!).
For this new season’s posts I’m gonna try a new format. Rather than making the articles per show I will make them per day subcategorizing the shows in different slideshows.
That means that my inner OCDish tendencies will be a bit disturbed since obviously the slideshows won’t have the same number of images and that is not very “anal”.
Take today’s post for example, one of the slideshows has over 40 images and another under 10… I hate it but I’ll have to live with that!
I’ve mentioned this before, the reason why it is so uneven is that there’s factors that really determine the potential for shots in each show that range from the brand itself to the outside of the venue where the show is taking place, the weather and of course the guest list.
I also have to mention that in this New York trip something really crappy happened which is that my camera began deteriorating and the worst is that it affected the quality of the photos… I did my best but there’s only so much one can do with faulty equipment.
Now I’m so nervous about how I’m gonna work for Milan and Paris, but thankfully I have great friends who are willing to lend a hand (still nervous about not using my own camera for the next two weeks).
Anyways, back to the main subject… these photos are from day 3 of the Fashion Week calendar but my day 1 shooting street style (so the posts will be numbered based on me and not the calendar).
I really hope you like the photos!
Also, don’t forget that I’ll be heading for Milan soon so if you wan’t to stay in the know of what’s going on over there, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @am_bitieuse (street style #AmbitiousLooks) where I’ll be updating as much as the 4G allows 🙂
Ok this slideshow is pathetic with its 4 photos… but let me give you some context here. It was Givenchy’s first show in NY, they invited a hell lot of people to attend and there were tons of security guys and cops yelling after photographers for running on the street. So when they decided to put me behind a “barrier” I decided I would rather stay put than go pissing them off for disobeying #callmecrazy
See you around!
